Who can apply

  • Current UAL students, any college or course
  • Original work you wrote or co-wrote
  • Short films that can realistically shoot this term
  • Solo writers, directors or small teams

What you'll need

  • Title, logline and synopsis
  • Script (PDF)
  • Optional pitch deck
  • Rough budget and locations
  • Cast and crew needs
  • A director's statement

How selection works

  1. 1. Committee reviewers read and score every eligible pitch.
  2. 2. A shortlist is invited to interview with the panel.
  3. 3. One film is selected, funded and crewed this term.
